Once my 90 probationary period ended, so did my sales training (even though I was already making sales), and so did my trial period for management. For a month and a half, I continued to successfully operate this role. I went from installer to "trial manager" in approximately 50 days, with another 40 days until my probationary period ended. I was informed that every additional task I was taking on was part of a "great opportunity for advancement and leadership role." I reluctantly agreed and continued to operate my role at Budget Blinds of Midland. Although my official job title was an installer, my responsibilities included managing a team of installers, warehouse operations, responding to consults and repairs with my personal vehicle without receiving milage or compensation. I learned the ins and outs of all things window treatment but never received additional compensation after my 90 day probationary period even though my daily tasks were managerial rather than installation. The lack of professionalism/customer service in this matter is obvious. It is an owners responsibility to handle issues in a timely manner if their rep is unavailable for a month. This whole process has been frustrating because not once has the owner or someone higher up contacted us to offer a solution or remedy this. We asked why someone else couldnt fill in since its been a month and she has not been available to address the issues. Rep *** has ***** and says she must come out later.

I explained once again that when pulled down they spring back up thus not touching window sill. Rep called on 4-3 & said factory said blinds are not pulled down all the way.
BUDGET BLINDS SARASOTA WINDOWS
Rep finally called on **** (2 wks later) & asked me to measure 1 window and fwd pics of all windows so she could send to factory warranty. Was told rep had to handle and she was unable to be contacted due to funeral. Called numerous more times through 4-3-23 asking to speak to manager/owner to get someone out to address issues. Was asked to send email and email was sent w issues to office on 3-9. Called ************ to receptionist first time on 3-9-23 to report issues. 4) Left side shade does not roll up last 4 to top. Rep later suggested installing clamp on brick paver (neither secure or safe). Installer suggested we buy/install Velcro. 3) Theres no place for clamp to be installed to hold rt shade securely. 2) The 2 Roller shades do not completely cover left side of screen. Installer tried to fix 2 of them but they are not great. He said to wait a week to let them relax and if still short they would be replaced. 5 Blinds and 2 roller shades installed on 3-8-23 final pymt of $591.95 made 3-8-23. Rep measured for blinds/roller shades on 1-25-23 down pymt of $1775.85 made 1-27-23.
